The Chelsea 871 Series Power Take-Off, part number 871XEQTP-B5RY or 871XEQTPB5RY, is a 10-bolt PowerShift (hydraulic) PTO designed for Allison transmissions. The 871 Series replaces the earlier Chelsea 870 Series and brings upgraded construction throughout. A ductile iron bearing cap rated 117% stronger than gray iron replaces the previous gray iron design, and an O-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap reduces the effects of engine vibration while improving clamp load. Continuous torque capacity for the series reaches up to 670 lb-ft (908 N-m), with no derating required for continuous-duty applications. Nine speed ratios and thirteen output options cover a wide range of installation requirements. The 871 Series is the only Chelsea PTO offering all three premium options together: Wet Spline lubrication, SmartStart shock-load reduction, and Quiet Gear input.
