The Chelsea 871XFFJP-D5RY is a 10-bolt PowerShift (hydraulic shift) Power Take-Off Assembly designed for Allison transmission applications. Part of Chelsea's 871 Series, this PTO features a ductile iron bearing cap rated 117% stronger than its gray iron predecessor, along with an o-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap to improve clamp load and reduce vibration. The compact housing design minimizes clearance concerns during installation. The 871 Series supports continuous-duty operation at torque capacity up to 670 lb-ft (908 Nm) across the series. The Chelsea 871 Series replaces the earlier 870 Series PTO. The 871 Series is the only Chelsea PTO to offer all three of Chelsea's solutions: Wet Spline, SmartStart, and Quiet Gear options. SmartStart reduces shock load at start-up for select applications. Electronic Overspeed Control (EOC) is available to protect driven equipment. Nine speed ratios and thirteen output options are available across the series.
