The Chelsea 871 Series Power Take-Off (P/N 871XFKVP-B5BV or 871XFKVPB5BV) is a 10-bolt, hydraulically shifted (PowerShift) PTO designed for Allison transmissions. The series carries a continuous torque rating up to 670 lb-ft (908 N-m) with no derating required for continuous-duty operation. Nine speed ratios and thirteen output options cover a wide range of hydraulic and mechanical applications, including fire and rescue, refuse, pumper/cleaner, and truck crane work. The ductile iron bearing cap is 117% stronger than gray iron, and an O-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap improves clamp load while reducing vibration damage. Optional Wet Spline, SmartStart, and Quiet Gear configurations are available within the 871 Series. The 871 Series replaces the Chelsea 870 Series.
