The Chelsea 871 Series Power Take-Off, part number 871XGFJP-B3AB or 871XGFJPB3AB, is a 10-bolt PowerShift (hydraulic shift) PTO designed for Allison transmissions. The 871 Series carries a continuous torque rating of up to 670 lb-ft (908 N-m) with no derating required for continuous duty applications. Nine speed ratios and thirteen output options give this unit a wide fit across fire and rescue apparatus, truck cranes, pumper cleaners, and refuse vehicles. The ductile iron bearing cap is 117% stronger than gray iron, and an O-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap improves clamp load while reducing the vibrational effects of modern engine designs. Optional Wet Spline pump flange, SmartStart, Quiet Gear input, and Electronic Overspeed Control (EOC) configurations are available within the 871 Series.
