The Chelsea 871 Series Power Take-Off, part number 871XJFJP-D3AC or 871XJFJPD3AC, is a 10-bolt hydraulic PowerShift PTO designed for Allison transmissions. The series supports continuous torque up to 670 lb-ft (908 N-m) with no derating required for continuous-duty operation. Nine speed ratios and thirteen output options give this unit flexibility across a wide range of vocational installations, from fire and rescue apparatus to truck cranes, refuse trucks, and pumper-cleaner units. The ductile iron bearing cap is 117% stronger than gray iron, and an O-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap improves clamp load while reducing the effects of engine vibration. The Wet Spline pump flange, SmartStart, and Quiet Gear options are all available on the 871 Series, making it the only Chelsea PTO to offer all three simultaneously.
