The Chelsea 878 Series Power Take-Off, part number 878LDFJW-M5TZ or 878LDFJWM5TZ, is a constant mesh PTO built for Allison and CAT 10-bolt transmissions. It carries up to 670 lb-ft of torque in both continuous and intermittent duty, making it one of the highest-rated units in its mounting class. The ductile iron bearing cap is 117% stronger than gray iron, and an O-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap improves clamp load while reducing vibration damage. Rotatable cast-iron flanges cut interference fitment issues, and the positive-stop driveline output design eliminates oil seal damage from the coupling. A hydraulic hose is included.
