The Chelsea 878XAKVP-M5RF or 878XAKVPM5RF is a constant mesh Power Take-Off assembly from the Chelsea 878 Series, designed to mount on Allison and CAT 10-bolt transmissions. The 878 Series improves on the proven 877 Series design with a ductile iron bearing cap rated 117% stronger than gray iron, an O-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap for improved clamp load, and steel clutch disc thickness increased by 80%. Nine speed ratios cover low and high speed applications. Rotatable cast iron flanges reduce interference clearance issues, and driveline outputs include a positive stop to prevent oil seal damage.
