878XEFJP-M5AB Chelsea PTO Assembly

The Chelsea 878 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 878XEFJP-M5AB or 878XEFJPM5AB, is a constant mesh PTO engineered to fit Allison and CAT 10-bolt transmissions. The 878 Series improves on the proven 877 Series platform with a ductile iron bearing cap rated 117% stronger than gray iron, and an o-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap that reduces vibrational effects and improves clamp load. Steel disc thickness within the clutch pack has been increased by 80% versus the prior generation. Nine speed ratios cover both low and high speed demands, and the series supports continuous duty operation. Rotatable cast-iron flanges reduce interference fitment issues, while the Wet Spline Lubrication option extends shaft service life by 7 to 10 times. A hydraulic hose is included.
