878XAFJP-M5AB Chelsea PTO Assembly

The Chelsea 878 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 878XAFJP-M5AB or 878XAFJPM5AB, is a constant mesh PTO engineered for Allison and CAT 10-bolt transmissions. The cast iron housing carries a ductile iron bearing cap rated 117% stronger than gray iron, and an O-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap reduces vibrational effects while improving clamp load. A single continuous-duty torque rating eliminates the intermittent-vs.-continuous distinction common on competing units. Rotatable cast iron flanges reduce interference fit issues at installation, and the Positive Stop feature on driveline outputs prevents oil seal damage from coupling over-travel. A wet spline lubrication option extends output shaft life by 7 to 10 times. Nine speed ratios cover both low and high speed applications, and a hydraulic hose is included.
