The Chelsea 880 Series Power Take-Off, part number 880XJARX-Y3XS or 880XJARXY3XS, is an 8-bolt, lever mechanical shift PTO built for heavy-duty, high-torque applications. The output shaft is a 1-1/2"-10T spline with a 1410 series companion flange, rated for intermittent torque up to 500 lb-ft (678 Nm). Shaft power output reaches 48 HP at 500 RPM and 95 HP at 1,000 RPM. The cast iron housing carries tapered cone bearings for load capacity, and the removable shift cover allows backlash adjustment without special tooling. Typical applications include bulk haulers, fire trucks, oil field equipment, large recovery trucks, and winch-equipped vehicles.
