The Chelsea 890CAFJW-B3XV or 890CAFJWB3XV is a hydraulic PowerShift PTO assembly from the 890 Series, designed specifically for Allison 3000 MD and 4000 HD series transmissions. It mounts via a 10-bolt pattern and positions the pump output to the rear of the transmission, improving clearance between the pump and the frame rail. The one-piece main shaft eliminates the input splines found on a PTO-plus-extension setup, and the clutch sits at the rear of the housing so the gear section tucks tightly against the transmission. The SAE C (XS) output uses Wet Spline Technology to extend pump shaft life in demanding cycles. Continuous-duty torque rating reaches 670 ft-lb, with intermittent torque rated at 501 ft-lb or more.
