The Chelsea 890LAFJW-B5XY or 890LAFJWB5XY is a 890 Series Power Take-Off Assembly engineered specifically for Allison 3000 MD and 4000 HD Series transmissions. It uses a 10-bolt mounting pattern and a Hydraulic PowerShift (hot shift) engagement, so the PTO can be shifted under load without interrupting the hydraulic circuit. The SAE C output shaft uses Wet Spline lubrication, which reduces wear on both the PTO and pump shaft in demanding duty cycles. The 890 Series locates the pump output to the rear of the transmission, fitting between the transmission and frame rail to give the pump more clearance. Continuous-duty torque is rated up to 670 ft-lb; intermittent torque is rated at 501+ ft-lb. Shaft power output is 64 HP at 500 RPM and 128 HP at 1,000 RPM.
