The Chelsea 897 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 897EEFJW-M5XK or 897EEFJWM5XK, is a constant-engagement (constant mesh) PTO engineered specifically for Allison 3000 and 4000 Series transmissions. It mounts via a 10-bolt pattern on the transmission side, then adds a rear-of-transmission support bracket, positioning the SAE C output flange at the back of the transmission to maximize pump clearance without requiring a separate extension unit. The one-piece main shaft eliminates input splines between the PTO and output extension. Wet Spline Technology is built in, reducing wear on the pump and PTO shaft in demanding duty cycles.
