The Chelsea 897 Series Power Take-Off, part number 897JAFJW-M3CS or 897JAFJWM3CS, is a constant-engagement PTO engineered specifically for Allison 3000 and 4000 Series transmissions. It mounts via a 10-bolt pattern and positions the SAE C output flange at the rear of the transmission, tucking the housing tightly against the transmission case to gain clearance between the pump and the frame rail. The one-piece main shaft eliminates the input spline joint found on PTO-plus-extension setups, which reduces a potential wear point. Continuous-duty torque reaches 670 ft-lb (908 Nm); intermittent torque is rated above 501 ft-lb. Output power runs 64 HP at 500 RPM and 128 HP at 1,000 RPM.
