The 897 Series positions the SAE C output flange at the rear of the transmission, tucking the housing tightly against the case to free up space between the transmission and the frame rail. A one-piece main shaft eliminates the inter-unit input splines found on PTO-plus-extension arrangements, which reduces potential leak points and simplifies installation. Wet Spline lubrication is built in to extend output shaft and pump spline service life in demanding duty cycles.
