The Chelsea 897 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 897LAFJW-M5XS or 897LAFJWM5XS, is a constant-mesh PTO engineered for Allison 3000 and 4000 Series transmissions. It mounts via a 10-bolt pattern on the side of the transmission and uses an additional rear-support bracket, fitting the housing tightly against the transmission to clear the frame rail. The one-piece main shaft eliminates input splines between the PTO and output extension, relocating the pump interface to the rear of the transmission for improved clearance. The SAE C output flange pairs with wet-spline technology to extend both PTO and pump shaft life under demanding duty cycles.
