The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off, part number 489XCAHX-A3XK or 489XCAHXA3XK, is a mechanical shift PTO designed for manual transmissions with an 8-bolt mounting aperture, including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec gearboxes. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the transmission opening, eliminating the need for a separate adapter plate and reducing potential leak paths. The 489 Series uses tapered bearings in place of needle bearings for greater load-bearing capability. Output is through a 1-1/4" round keyed shaft.
