Chelsea 489XCAHX-A3XQ or 489XCAHXA3XQ is a 489 Series power take-off assembly designed for manual transmissions with an 8-bolt PTO mounting aperture, including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec boxes. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the transmission opening without an adapter plate, eliminating that adapter as a potential leak path. Shift type on this unit is wire/cable mechanical. Output is via a 1-1/4" round shaft (with key). The 489 Series carries the same 250 lb-ft intermittent torque capacity as the 442 Series, with shaft power rated at 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1000 RPM.
