Majestic MAJSAE405G is an SAE 40 full synthetic heavy-duty manual transmission fluid, a drivetrain fluid for truck manual transmissions and not an engine oil. It is made with 100% synthetic base stocks to extend drain intervals and improve fuel economy, with strong cold-flow, anti-shear and anti-foam properties and protection against corrosion, oxidation and wear. Majestic lists it as suitable for applications that require Eaton Extended Drain PS-386 and PS-164 Rev. 7, Meritor Extended Drain (TP-90014) and Meritor 0-81, Mack TO-A-PLUS, Navistar TMS-6816 and MPAPS B-6816 Type II, and Volvo Transmission Oil 97305. Typical viscosity is 95.1 cSt at 40 C and 14.8 cSt at 100 C, with a viscosity index of 163, a -45 C pour point and a 230 C flash point. Packaged in a 5 gallon pail and sold by Pro Gear and Transmission.
