Our parts manual lists it as the dowel for the input cage to oil pump, 2 per assembly: item 89 in the 140/141/143/144/145 Series, RD-20-145 and RT-40-145 drive axles, and item 95 in the 160/161/164 Series, RD-23-160, RT-40-160, RT-46-160 and RT-46-164EH drive axles.
