The shield has an 18.12 in. outer diameter and bolts on with screws or cap screws through four mounting holes. The assembly contains one 3236E2709 and one 3236X2702 shield.
A dust shield closes off the back of the drum brake, keeping stones, road debris, water and dust away from the shoes and the other working parts inside the brake.
