The Meritor RTV Sealant, part number 2297A7021, is a Meritor sealing compound supplied in a 3 oz tube. RTV (Room Temperature Vulcanizing) sealant is commonly used during axle and differential assembly to seal housing mating surfaces, covers, and caps where a formed-in-place gasket is required.
