The Meritor E-959 or E959 is a brake spider and flange mounting kit designed for 16.50-inch drum brakes. It fits Meritor Standard TK500 Series axles, Eaton 18,000 lb. axles, and Standard Forge 17,000 and 18,000 lb. axles. Each kit ships complete with one E-957 Brake Spider, one E-864 Brake Flange, and 16 E-632 Spider Mounting Bolts and Nuts, giving you all the hardware needed to properly mount the brake spider at the wheel end.
