The Midland Haldex SC16 is a Type 16 brake service chamber with a standard 2.25-inch (57mm) available stroke. Air ports are threaded 3/8-18 NPTF, positioned at 90 degrees, and the chamber is rated for a maximum air pressure of 150 psi. The steel pressure housing is powder coated and features resistance-welded air ports. The step-bottom service housing is formed from 12-gauge steel with a powder-coat finish for corrosion resistance. A world-class rubber diaphragm maintains flexibility down to -40 degrees F. The built-in Orange Alert stroke indicator gives a visual warning when stroke approaches its limit.
