The Muncie A20 Series power take-off, part number A20-A1005-HX1X4PX or A20A1005HX1X4PX, is a medium-duty, 10-bolt clutch shift PTO engineered for Allison 3000 and 4000 Series transmissions. The shift cover rotates 360 degrees and the pump flange is rotatable, both simplifying installation. Increased clearance around the unit makes fitting it to the transmission easier in tight engine bays. A proven clutch pack design, tapered roller bearings, and an increased-diameter output shaft work together to extend service life. The gear set is optimized to reduce operating noise, and reduced leak paths cut the chance of fluid loss. Three housing arrangements are available, and the unit accepts the EX Drive shaft extension.
