The Muncie A20-A1006-HX5BB or A20A1006HX5BB is a medium-duty clutch shift power take-off from the Muncie A20 Series, designed for Allison 3000 and 4000 Series transmissions. The A20 Series mounts via a 10-bolt pattern and features a shift cover with 360-degree rotation, giving installers flexibility in routing shift lines. A rotatable pump flange simplifies hydraulic connections, while increased clearance around the unit eases installation in tight engine compartments. Tapered roller bearings extend service life, and an increased-diameter output shaft handles higher drive loads. The clutch pack design carries a single intermittent and continuous torque rating across the speed ratio range.
