The Muncie A20-A1008-HX31XBX or A20A1008HX31XBX is a medium-duty, clutch-shift power take-off designed specifically for Allison 3000 and 4000 Series transmissions, mounting via a 10-bolt interface. The shift cover rotates 360 degrees for flexible installation positioning, and the pump flange is fully rotatable to suit various plumbing layouts. Tapered roller bearings extend service life, and the increased-diameter output shaft adds durability under sustained loads. Gear geometry is optimized to reduce operating noise, and extended-length mounting fasteners simplify installation. The unit carries a single intermittent/continuous torque rating and is available in three housing arrangements. It is also compatible with the Muncie EX Drive shaft extension.
