The Muncie A20-A1008-SX31X or A20A1008SX31X is a medium-duty, clutch shift power take-off designed for Allison 3000 and 4000 Series transmissions. Part of Muncie's A20 Series, it mounts via a 10-bolt interface and features a shift cover with 360-degree rotation, giving installers flexibility in tight engine compartments. The rotatable pump flange and extended-length PTO mounting fasteners further simplify installation. Tapered roller bearings and an increased-diameter output shaft are built in for extended service life, while a maximized gear profile keeps operating noise low. Three housing arrangements are available, and the unit is compatible with the EX Drive shaft extension.
