The Muncie A20-A1010-SX31X or A20A1010SX31X is a 10-bolt clutch shift power takeoff unit built for Allison 3000 and 4000 series automatic transmissions. The clutch pack engagement design shares a single intermittent/continuous torque rating, and the unit is available in three housing arrangements to match varied installation requirements. A rotatable pump flange and a shift cover with 360-degree rotation simplify mounting in tight spaces, while extended-length PTO mounting fasteners and increased case clearance make installation more manageable. Tapered roller bearings protect the output shaft under sustained load, and the increased output shaft diameter adds durability in demanding drive applications.
