The Muncie A20 Series power take-off, part number A20-A1010-HX1IIPX or A20A1010HX1IIPX, is a medium-duty clutch shift PTO designed specifically for Allison 3000 and 4000 Series transmissions. It mounts via a 10-bolt pattern and offers three housing arrangements to suit different installation configurations. The shift cover rotates a full 360 degrees, and the rotatable pump flange simplifies hydraulic circuit plumbing. Tapered roller bearings extend service life, while the enlarged output shaft diameter adds durability under continuous load. Gear geometry is optimized for noise reduction, and reduced leak paths lower maintenance demands. The unit is also compatible with the Muncie EX Drive shaft extension.
