The Muncie CS40-A1009-H1CX or CS40A1009H1CX is a CS40 Series heavy-duty clutch shift power take-off built for demanding hydraulic and fire pump applications. It uses a 10-bolt mounting configuration and supports both SAE "C" and DIN 5462 direct mount flanges, fitting most pumps that require high power input. The rotatable direct mount flanges let you position the pump for maximum clearance. A 1410 series remote mount output shaft is included for remote pump drives. Standard pressure lubrication is built in. Maximum output speed on fire pump applications is 4,000 RPM. The unit can be mounted shaft-high or shaft-low on either side of the transmission.
