The Muncie 828S-U6810-B3IX or 828SU6810B3IX is a heavy-duty power take-off from Muncie's 82 Series lineup, engineered for high-torque applications including high-volume pump and high-CFM blower drives. The 82 Series is built around a cast iron housing and uses a double-acting air shift mechanism for positive engagement and disengagement under load. The series supports up to 500 lb.ft. intermittent torque and 95 HP at 1,000 RPM at its highest output ratio. Rotatable direct-mount pump flanges allow positioning for maximum clearance, and seven direct-mount pump options cover SAE "B," "BB," "C," and "D" as well as DIN 5462 mounts.
