The Muncie CS40-A1007-J3CX or CS40A1007J3CX is a heavy-duty clutch shift power take-off from Muncie Power Products' CS40/41 Series, designed for Allison 3000 and 4000 series and Caterpillar CX transmissions. This 10-bolt unit features precision ground gears for high torque capacity and quiet operation, with standard pressure lubrication included. The SAE "C" and DIN 5462 direct mount flanges are rotatable, allowing pump positioning for maximum clearance. A 1410-series remote mount output shaft is available for remote pump drive applications. Two assembly arrangements let the unit mount shaft high or low on either side of the transmission, with a maximum output speed of 4,000 RPM on fire pump applications.
