The Muncie CS40-A1007-J12X or CS40A1007J12X is a 10-bolt heavy-duty clutch shift power take-off from the Muncie CS40/CS41 Series, designed to deliver maximum power from Allison 3000 and 4000 series and Caterpillar CX transmissions. The unit supports both S.A.E. "C" and DIN 5462 direct mount configurations, fitting most pumps that require high power input, and features a 1410 series remote mount output shaft for remote pump drives. Rotatable direct mount flanges let you position the pump for maximum clearance, and two assembly arrangements allow mounting shaft high or low on either side of the transmission. Standard pressure lubrication is included. On fire pump applications, maximum output speed is rated at 4,000 RPM. Call us to confirm proper fit for your application.
