The Muncie CS8 Series Power Take-Off, part number CS8B-U6004-E1KX or CS8BU6004E1KX, is an 8-bolt clutch shift PTO designed for direct-mount and remote pump drive applications. It accommodates SAE "A", "B", and "BB" as well as DIN 5462 direct mount pump flanges, all of which are rotatable to maximize clearance in tight installations. Three remote mount output shaft options are available in keyed and flange types. The patented Muncie drag brake prevents shaft rotation when the PTO is in the off position, reducing wear on connected components. An optional pulse generator supports System Protection Device monitoring of PTO shaft speed. The CS8 series fits most popular automatic and manual transmissions, including Allison 1000/2000 series.
