The Muncie CS8B-U6005-E1BX or CS8BU6005E1BX is a CS8 Series power take-off unit featuring an 8-bolt clutch shift engagement. It accommodates SAE "A", "B", and "BB" as well as DIN 5462 direct mount pump configurations, with rotatable flanges so the pump can be positioned for maximum clearance. Three remote mount output shafts are available in keyed and flange types for remote pump drive applications. A patented Muncie drag brake prevents shaft rotation when the PTO is in the off position. The unit fits most popular automatic and manual transmissions, including Allison 1000/2000 series. An optional pulse generator is available for System Protection Device shaft speed monitoring.
