The Muncie CS8 Series Power Take-Off, part number CS8B-U6809-A2BX or CS8BU6809A2BX, is an 8-bolt clutch shift PTO designed for direct mount pump applications on Allison 1000/2000 series automatic transmissions and a wide range of manual transmissions. It accepts SAE "A", "B", and "BB" as well as DIN 5462 direct mount pumps, with rotatable flanges for positioning clearance. Three remote mount output shaft options cover both keyed and flange types for versatile pump drive configurations. Muncie's patented drag brake prevents output shaft rotation when the unit is in the OFF position. An optional pulse generator supports System Protection Device shaft speed monitoring.
