The Muncie CS8 Series Power Take-Off, part number CS8B-U6809-A1PX or CS8BU6809A1PX, is an 8-bolt clutch-shift PTO designed to fit a broad range of automatic and manual transmissions, including the Allison 1000/2000 series. Direct-mount pump flanges conform to SAE "A", "B", and "BB" as well as DIN 5462 standards, and all flanges are rotatable for maximum clearance in tight installs. Three remote-mount output shaft options are available in keyed and flange types, giving flexibility for remote pump drives. The patented Muncie drag brake prevents output shaft rotation when the unit is in the OFF position. An optional pulse generator supports System Protection Device monitoring of PTO shaft speed.
