The Muncie CS8 Series power take-off, part number CS8D-S6812-E1ZX or CS8DS6812E1ZX, is an 8-bolt clutch shift PTO designed to fit most popular automatic and manual transmissions, including the Allison 1000/2000 series. Direct mount pump flanges are rotatable to maximize clearance, and the unit accepts SAE "A", "B", and "BB" as well as DIN 5462 pump configurations. Three remote mount output shaft options are available in keyed and flange types for versatility in remote pump drive applications. The patented Muncie drag brake prevents output shaft rotation when the PTO is disengaged. An optional pulse generator supports System Protection Device shaft speed monitoring.
