The Muncie CS8S-U6004-A1B5 or CS8SU6004A1B5 is a CS8 Series power take-off unit with an 8-bolt clutch shift engagement. This PTO is engineered to work with a wide range of automatic and manual transmissions, including common Allison 1000/2000 series applications. Direct mount pump options cover SAE "A", "B", and "BB" as well as DIN 5462 flanges, and the rotatable direct mount flanges let you position the pump for maximum installation clearance. Three remote mount output shaft configurations are available in keyed and flange types for added versatility. The patented Muncie drag brake prevents output shaft rotation when the unit is in the OFF position. An optional pulse generator allows a System Protection Device to monitor PTO shaft speed.
