The Muncie CS8 Series Power Take-Off, part number CS8S-U6005-E1SP or CS8SU6005E1SP, is an 8-bolt clutch shift PTO designed to fit a wide range of automatic and manual transmissions, including the Allison 1000/2000 series. Direct mount pump flanges conform to SAE "A", "B", and "BB" standards as well as DIN 5462, and all direct mount flanges are rotatable to maximize clearance around the installation. Three remote mount output shaft options are available in keyed and flange types for remote pump drive flexibility. Muncie's patented drag brake prevents output shaft rotation when the PTO is in the OFF position. An optional pulse generator supports System Protection Device monitoring of PTO shaft speed.
