The Muncie CS8 Series Power Take-Off, part number CS8S-U6005-E1IX or CS8SU6005E1IX, is an 8-bolt clutch shift PTO built for demanding hydraulic applications on trucks equipped with popular automatic and manual transmissions, including Allison 1000/2000 series. The CS8 Series supports SAE "A", "B", and "BB" as well as DIN 5462 direct mount pump options, with rotatable flanges that let you position the pump for maximum clearance. Three remote mount output shaft configurations are available in keyed and flange types for remote pump drive flexibility. Muncie's patented drag brake prevents output shaft rotation when the PTO is disengaged. An optional pulse generator allows a System Protection Device to monitor PTO shaft speed.
