The Muncie CS8S-U6805-A1BX or CS8SU6805A1BX is a CS8 Series 8-bolt clutch shift power take-off assembly. It belongs to Muncie's CS6/CS8 Series, which is designed to fit Allison 1000/2000 series automatic transmissions as well as many popular manual transmissions. The series accommodates SAE "A", "B", and "BB" and DIN 5462 direct-mount pump flanges, and the rotatable direct-mount flange allows the pump to be positioned for maximum clearance. A patented Muncie drag brake prevents shaft rotation when the PTO is in the off position. Three remote-mount output shaft options are available in keyed and flange types.
