The Muncie CS8S-U6806-A3KX or CS8SU6806A3KX is a CS8 Series power take-off featuring an 8-bolt clutch shift design. It accommodates 19 transmission input gear configurations to fit a wide range of automatic and manual transmissions, including the Allison 1000/2000 series. Direct mount pump flanges are offered in SAE "A", "B", and "BB" as well as DIN 5462 patterns, and all flanges are rotatable to maximize clearance in tight installations. Three remote mount output shaft options cover both keyed and flange types for flexible pump drive configurations. Muncie's patented drag brake prevents unwanted shaft rotation when the PTO is in the off position. An optional pulse generator supports System Protection Device monitoring of PTO shaft speed.
