The Muncie CS8S-U6806-E1KX or CS8SU6806E1KX is a CS8 Series power take-off unit featuring an 8-bolt clutch shift engagement. It covers a wide range of automatic and manual transmission applications, including Allison 1000/2000 series transmissions. Three remote mount output shafts are available in keyed and flange types for versatility with remote pump drives. Direct mount pump flanges are rotatable for maximum clearance and accept SAE "A", "B", and "BB" as well as DIN 5462 pump configurations. Muncie's patented drag brake prevents shaft rotation when the PTO is in the off position. An optional pulse generator supports shaft speed monitoring through a System Protection Device.
