The Muncie CS8 Series Power Take-Off, part number CS8S-U6806-H1BX or CS8SU6806H1BX, is an 8-bolt clutch shift PTO designed to fit a wide range of automatic and manual transmissions, including the Allison 1000/2000 series. The unit accepts SAE "A", "B", and "BB" as well as DIN 5462 direct mount pumps, with rotatable mounting flanges that allow the pump to be positioned for maximum clearance. Three remote mount output shafts are available in keyed and flange types for versatile pump drive configurations. Muncie's patented drag brake prevents shaft rotation when the PTO is in the off position. An optional pulse generator supports System Protection Device monitoring of PTO shaft speed.
