The Muncie CS8S-U6807-A3IX or CS8SU6807A3IX is an 8-bolt clutch shift PTO from the CS8 Series, designed to fit a wide range of automatic and manual transmissions including the Allison 1000/2000 series. It accepts SAE "A", "B", and "BB" as well as DIN 5462 direct mount pump configurations, with rotatable flanges that allow positioning for maximum clearance in tight installations. Three remote mount output shafts are available in keyed and flange types for flexibility with remote pump drives. Muncie's patented drag brake prevents output shaft rotation when the PTO is in the OFF position, and an optional pulse generator supports System Protection Device monitoring of PTO shaft speed.
