The Muncie CS8 Series Power Take-Off, part number CS8S-M6509-A3IX or CS8SM6509A3IX, is an 8-bolt clutch shift PTO built for versatility across a wide range of automatic and manual transmission applications, including Allison 1000/2000 series. Direct mount pump flanges cover SAE "A", "B", and "BB" as well as DIN 5462 patterns, and the flanges rotate so the pump can be positioned for maximum clearance in tight installations. Three remote mount output shaft options are offered in keyed and flange types for remote pump drive flexibility. Muncie's patented drag brake prevents output shaft rotation when the PTO is in the OFF position. An optional pulse generator allows a System Protection Device to monitor PTO shaft speed.
