The Muncie CS8S-U6809-A3SX or CS8SU6809A3SX is an 8-bolt clutch shift Power Take-Off from Muncie's CS8 Series. It fits a wide range of automatic and manual transmissions, including Allison 1000/2000 series units, with 19 transmission input gear options. Direct mount pump flanges conform to SAE "A", "B", and "BB" as well as DIN 5462 standards, and the flanges rotate to position the pump for maximum clearance in tight installations. Three remote mount output shaft configurations are available in keyed and flange types for added versatility. The patented Muncie drag brake holds the output shaft stationary when the PTO is in the OFF position. An optional pulse generator allows a System Protection Device to monitor PTO shaft speed.
