The Muncie CS8S-U6809-E1DX (also referenced as CS8SU6809E1DX) is a CS8 Series power take-off featuring an 8-bolt clutch shift design. It accepts 19 transmission input gear configurations, covering a wide range of automatic and manual transmissions including the Allison 1000/2000 series. Three remote mount output shaft options are available in keyed and flange types to suit various remote pump drive setups. Direct mount pump flanges are SAE "A", "B", and "BB" as well as DIN 5462 compatible, and the rotatable flanges allow positioning for maximum clearance. Muncie's patented drag brake prevents shaft rotation when the PTO is in the OFF position. An optional pulse generator supports System Protection Device monitoring of PTO shaft speed.
